Lasalle Elementary School is a Primary/Junior French Immersion school where classes are taught exclusively in French from Kindergarten to Grade 2 with English gradually being introduced in Grades 3 through 6. 

Students are provided with many cultural activities to enhance their love of the French language.  Learning also takes place outside of the school and classroom as they embark on field trips related to the arts, science and athletics.

At Lasalle Elementary School, we instill the Rainbow District School Board’s values into our daily activities. These include The Seven Grandfather Teachings – Humility, Bravery, Honesty, Wisdom, Truth, Respect and Love – braided together with Resilience, Equity and Community.

These values provide the foundation for ongoing character development in Rainbow Schools.
